I am a Yoga Teacher and Marriage and Family Therapist contributing to the marriage of mindfulness yoga and western psychology through running this blog and offering yoga classes that honor healing the whole self and tapping into the ancient wisdom of the earth. The eastern and western world's spiritual traditions are valuable, synergystic practices to resource from when tending to and healing the mind-body-heart-spirit complex.
I began practicing yoga 20 years ago to find more ease in my body and mind. Teaching yoga brings me joy and peace and it is truly a gift to share the practice. It has helped me heal my whole self and recognize yoga's potential to heal others.
